Bubble’s 12 Trust Pillars

We give parents total control, flexibility and peace of mind.

1

ID verification

Every sitter must confirm their identity with the Bubble team using their passport or driving licence.

2

Online background check

All sitters must also pass an online background check too. This is an adverse media check, and is not the same thing as a DBS check.

3

DBS verification

This isn’t a requirement, but thousands of sitters have a verified DBS on Bubble and we offer them the option of getting one through our platform. Parents are clearly told on each sitter’s profile, whether they have a verified DBS or not.

4

References

Sitters signing up to our platform must also supply two references from employers or families they’ve worked with before (applies to all sitters who have joined since July 2019).

5

Reviews

Parent’s can read the reviews left by other parents on a sitter’s profile. They can also message those parents in-app to chat to them too.

6

Mutual friends

Bubble shows parents their friends in common with the sitter, making it easy to get that all-important personal recommendation.

7

Pre-sit meet-ups

Bubble gives parents the tools to arrange a pre-sit meeting with any sitter they’re thinking of booking. It’s a wonderful way of getting comfortable with someone new.

8

Interviews

Thousands of sitters have been interviewed by the Bubble team, and we show parents on their profiles when they’ve completed this additional check.

9

Insurance

Every sitter on Bubble has £1m third party public liability insurance as standard, on all sits they do on Bubble, which we pay for ourselves.

10

Secure payment

All payment is handled and tracked through the app, digitally and securely.

11

Safety Bubble

Our Safety Bubble feature allows both parents and sitters to access multiple safety resources inside of the app during a sit. These including location tracking, emergency contact info and safeguarding advice.

12

Bubble Academy

Sitters and nannies can gain insights and skills from our online training platform, with expert resources on topics such as first aid, safeguarding and wellbeing.
