Six amazing Father’s Day gifts

by | Parent Guides

Dads are notoriously hard to buy for – everything they want they’ve usually already bought themselves, and whenever you ask them for gift ideas they are frustratingly vague. So we decided to compile a list of a few things that most Dads would be pretty satisfied with – check them out below.

Mahabis slippers

Slippers for people who don’t do slippers (which is a lot of the dads we know!). Mahabis are all the rage right now, and that’s down to their slick design, comfortable fit and interchangeable soles that make them suitable for indoor and outdoor too. They’re not cheap mind you, but go on, he deserves it.

Photo box phone cover

We all spend too much time on our phones these days but if they’re adorned with gorgeous pictures of our kids then perhaps that’s no bad thing. Photobox makes it easy and quick to create bespoke phone covers containing your choice of family pics.  It’s the type of thing he might be unlikely to ever get for himself, but there’s no doubt he’s going to love it.

The Man Bag

Smart(ish) back-packs are great for work, the gym and just about anything dad might go out and do and there’s a lot to choose from these days. A few favourites of ours are the Herschel Classic, Herschel Settlement, and  The Saandqvist  – all available on the excellent Idle Man website.

Harry’s razor subscription

Like Dad even more when his facial hair is in check? Then treat him to a subscription with Harry’s Razors. The blade quality is uber-high and setting up your subscription, modifying it and cancelling it is so simple. Dad get’s quality shaving kit delivered to his door as frequently as he needs it and you get a better-groomed Pa. They’re also doing a very cool one-off kit for Father’s Day at £24, so check that out too.

Bulldog Skincare kit

OK, so his slippers are on, his man-bag’s looking good and his beard is groomed to perfection. Now it’s time for some moisturiser. Bulldog is a great (not so) little company making affordable, cool and high quality skincare products. You can buy Dad a giftbox from as little as £15.

Honest Brew Gift Box

Dad’s looking, feeling and smelling good – so far you’ve done better out of this Father’s Day then he has! Which is why it’s time to get the beers in.  Honest Brew offers craft beer membership which will deliver curated boxes of beer however often you like. For Father’s Day they’re doing “Beer Bundles” that you can give as a gift. For £35 Dad will get 12 craft beers and a glass to boot. Get it here.
