How much are London New Year's Eve fireworks tickets in 2026?

Tickets for the London New Year's Eve fireworks on 31 December 2026 cost £55 or £40, depending on the viewing area. Londoners with a London billing address pay £35 or £20. A small booking fee applies, and tickets are only sold through Ticketmaster.

Can you watch the London fireworks without a ticket?

No. You cannot enter the official viewing areas along the Thames without a ticket. Some people watch from high ground such as Alexandra Palace or Hampstead Heath, but the view is distant. The display is also shown live on TV.

Are the New Year's Eve fireworks in London suitable for children?

City Hall says the event is not suitable for young children and recommends not bringing them. Everyone needs a ticket whatever their age, and under-16s must be with an adult. Many parents book a babysitter and go without the kids, or hold an early countdown at home.

What are some things to do on NYE in London with kids?

Early kids' parties with a 6pm or 7pm countdown are the easiest option for families. On New Year's Day, the free London New Year's Day Parade starts around midday near Piccadilly. Counting down at home with another time zone, such as Dubai at 8pm UK time, is a good alternative for younger children.

When should I book a babysitter for New Year's Eve?

Book as soon as your plans are confirmed, as plenty of sitters have their own plans on New Year's Eve. Agree the finish time, hourly rate and how your sitter will get home before the night.
