As we all know, 2020 has been…memorable. Lockdown life has affected us all differently, but as parents in particular we’ve had to work hard to adapt ourselves and our families to the ‘new normal’.
That’s why here at Bubble we’ve been working on a new series, called Normal Parenting. Hosted by the wonderful comedian, actress and writer Ellie Taylor, our new series looks at how different parents have been impacted by this year’s events, both personally and professionally.
Our aim is to provide parents with some light relief where possible. As we know, sharing experiences can be a huge help in bringing us closer together – especially at a time when so many of us are far apart.
Kicking off the series, our first episode features the brilliant singer/songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Known for her weekly Kitchen Discos which brought a bit of sparkle into our lives, Sophie chats to Ellie about juggling 5 kids during lockdown and how music helped her cope with it all. Check out the episode below to see how Sophie managed to get through this strange year with the help of wine, Lego and occasional phone-smashing…
